New Girls in the Class

Now, following events last night (or afternoon for some of you) we should have new girls joining us all today, so don't be shy dears and introduce yourselves. The rules are self apparent, and if you break them, you will be reprimanded. See it as a virtual Mornington Crescent (anyone who doesn't know about that needs to do some reading up!)

Laurie has been here but is poorly at the moment, so Ive been rubbing her chest with some Vick which she has appreciated greatly....Hope you are feeling better soon dear.

So homework for the new girls is introductions please. Nothing truthful, and nothing boring, and as usual good girls get special attention, bad ones get bottom marks. You have been warned.

I suppose then, as you have requested on so many occasions that I not only take precious time from the devouring of trifles to read your blog, but also to make some effort in the afore mentioned activities - then I will concede and introduce myself. But of course, in compliance with your wishes, there will be no truth to this and therefore all that I say can be discarded as a work of fiction.

Naturally you will be getting all sorts of impressions by my seemed submission to your desires. You can discard them also. This is a special occasion and is only happening because the moon is indeed Blue tonight. It is quite spectacular, bouncing off the trees. Perhaps it is bouncing off your boat too, if you are in fact on it as I speak.

The whispers in those trees are louder than usual because of it. It even has the birds talking in their high voices. And at this time of the night too, it is unthinkable! However will I sleep? There will be great punishment for you for my restless sleep. Maybe I will not let you participate in the trifle feast. But I shall make you watch; while your eyes water and your lips tremble. But I shall feel no pang of remorse, for you turned the sky a funny colour with your madness. Perhaps you will think harder in future.

Consider it a lesson. That is your homework my dear - the ability to realize that I am always right, without question or need for argument.

Have a mighty cheery weekend. Don’t play the harmonica too loud or I might have to raise my bow at you.
