Its going to be a hard week this week; no Lindy Hop. Know I'm going to suffer cold turkey from that one....well, its Tuesday, and only six more days to go...
Whilst I'm moping, one aspect of life is people with double barrelled names and why they choose them. I remember once being told of a man with the unfortunate name of Mr Crotch, who found happiness late in life with Mrs Blythe, and not wishing to bestow his unfortunate attribute upon her, came up with the really wonderful idea of a double barrelled name; Mr and Mrs Blythe-Crotch. Isn't it wonderful how people find solutions in the face of adversity. Think I'll use is as my thought for the day and derive inspiration from it.
Talking of morning Radio programmes, I'm sorry that Mrs Jackanapes can judge Wogan without hearing him, being too busy with her ears wrapped round the comforting words of John Humphreys. You really should get out more. The Janet and John stories could have been written by you, featuring Janet, John, his shed, Mrs Biggerdike, Melanie Frontage and a series of very unfortunate double entendres (makes note to see if any are on line....)

Have you considered throwing yourself around your drawing room? Preferably near a great big mirror so you can catch sight of yourself in your spangles.
And as for Mr Wogan I used to listen to him when I was a nipper. But then I grew up quick and bad and only the Humpmeister can satisfy me now.
Did you know that his favourite song of all time is "Reach out and I'll be there" It is however also Mr Tony Blackburn's favourite disc...
