Roll up, roll up!!! Hot off the press from the Ice Cream Girl, the Ice Cream Van has been given the go ahead to be operating on Morecambe Prom! My dear Lindy Hopper Friend has spent the last couple of years renovating an original Bedford Ice Cream Van to let her ply her wares down the prom in the good old fashioned way. There is in fact going to be an opening ceremony, which will of course involve rows of dancers in starched hats and pinnies doing line dances with chocolate sundaes in their hands, me being one of them. Now before any of you start (Mrs Jackanapes), she will be reading this, and I DO NOT want her tainted by your coarse minds! (or me for that matter!)
Talking of all things delicious we are having warm chocolate cake and cream with this afternoon's cup of tea, and it sounds like there is going to be a food fight imminently-I might have to intervene with this one...see you later! (grins wickedly)
